CARMEN supports Save the CEU campaign
CARMEN joins other academics in supporting the Central European University against attack from the Hungarian government. CEU is one of the last islands of liberalism and free thinking in Hungary and ranks high in international standards. It also boasts a lively Medieval Studies department and university publishing house that publishes, among other, books on the Middle Ages in the region. It has done a great job in bringing Central/Eastern Europe into research focus again. We urge all to check the state of the affairs and express support.
