CARMEN’s next Annual Meeting will take place in the Engº António de Almeida Foundation in Porto, Portugal, on 13-15 September 2013. It will be kindly hosted by CEPESE - Centro de Estudios da Populacao, Economia e Sociedade. For the information about the venue see the Foundation website All CARMEN members will receive information about the venue and meeting in late April. The practical information about  accommodation and getting to the meeting and programme you find in the section Events and meetings. Those of the CARMEN members, who would like to participate, should contact Dr. Claire McIlroy at or the local organiser Dr. Cristina Pimenta at by 31 July 2013.
